AboutLana Scolaro was born in London, United Kingdom, on December 27, 1994. At a very young age, her parents had her in guitar lessons after school, virtually every day. Lana started out playing in school musicals, which eventually lead her to playing in the honors orchestra, at high school in London. That is where she found her love for writing music. Having a father who fully supported her passion for music, afforded her to perfect her reading and writing skills. During the summer of 2012, Lana took a leap of faith and relocated to New York, where she would later attend Parsons the New School for Design.
While attending the institute, she decided to pursue a full-time career in music. She cut her teeth doing open mics and showcases, which also helped to build up her local buzz. Shortly after returning back to Lon don, Lana dove head first into performing and displaying her new skills and songs, to her hometown. Each summer, Lana had spent on the island of Ibiza, Spain, surrounded by the most well known djs in the world which had her catch an interest in the keyboard as well as music production on ableton live. In the summer of 2013, Lana attended Point Blank Music School in Ibiza, where she was taught by the most reputable djs in the world how to produce music on different software and play professionally on vinyl and CDJs. From that point forward, Lana started to create mixes posting on soundcloud and mixcloud; her buzz inevitably followed and she was later discovered by The Books DJ Agency in London and Splash Life Booking in Los Angeles which lead to several tour placements with superstars Chanel West Coast and major DJs such as Diplo and Bob Sinclair. From this point onwards, a strong partnership developed, this seemingly overnight success, also landing Lana her first production deal, with Splash Commitee.
In addition to all of the performances and music releases, Lana Scolaro has also racked up 8 awards from award shows in Europe and is currently in the studio working on her debut album, “Lonesome,” set to be released later this year.
